From the moment we arrived in Peshawar, my eyes have been glued out the window and my heart has been beating fast. I am in love with this place.
Peshawar is an ancient city in North West Pakistan — almost on the border with Afghanistan — that has a recorded history dating back to 539 BCE.
The culture of Peshawar is unique to anywhere else in Pakistan (and the world for that matter). The way that people dress is different. The cuisine is different. The buildings are different.
They get such little tourism that the people are extremely curious and welcoming.
Peshawar is my kind of place, and I can’t wait to show you more of this city over the coming days 🙂
