Today in Hong Kong, my local buddy Uptin Saiidi and I ate dim sum at the world’s cheapest Michelin-star restaurant called Tim Ho Wan’s. Our entire meal was less than $10 each – for dim sum!
Tim Ho Wan’s started 9 years ago as a hole-in-the-wall dim sum restaurant in Mong Kok – the busiest district of Hong Kong. The dim sum is so freaking tasty that it has expanded to more than 50 locations in dozens of countries over the last decade. And it’s so damn inexpensive!
It blows my mind how food can be THIS GOOD and THIS CHEAP in one of the world’s most expensive cities… But I am surely not complaining!
Have you ever heard of Tim Ho Wan’s? Or tried dim sum before? Can anyone back me up by how good it is?
