It’s my pleasure to tell you the story of my friend, Sal Lavallo, who I actually met for the very first time yesterday in Dakar, Senegal (we’ve been Instagram Friends since 2014!)

At 27 years old, Sal was the youngest person to visit every single country in the world when he completed this goal in 2017. Thus, he’s always been someone I looked up to in the travel space.

But this video is not only about his epic travels around the world — it explains how he has transformed into a more complete, spiritual and well-rounded person primarily through converting to Islam back in 2013.

Just curious, has anyone else out there converted to Islam? Or any other religion for that matter? I would love to hear your thoughts!
