Guess what guys? I am the VERY FIRST TOURIST EVER to be allowed into Azad Kashmir without a permit. The government lifted restrictions TODAY and I am thrilled to be able to experience this untouched society.

If you’ve never heard of Kashmir before, it’s a disputed territory of some 13 million people that lies in the Himalayan mountains in between Northern India, Northern Pakistan and Western China. Each of the 3 countries claims ownership in the land, which is what has caused all the recent controversy.

But all politics aside, this place is SO AMAZING and I am loving the culture out here. Who would have known that Kashmir is this stunning? Did you?
