One of my favorite things about Malaysia is the diversity among it’s people. Walking around the streets of Kuala Lumpur, I am always stunned by the multi-cultural, multi-ethic and multi-lingual locals that I come across.
Malaysia’s two biggest ethnic groups (aside from Malay) are Chinese and Indian — and when you mix their blood together over the decades, you have this amazing sub-ethnic group called “Chindians.”
I met some Chindians today in K.L. and I wanted to give you a glimpse into their lives in this video.
If you are a Chindian, I’d love to hear your story below (struggles and/or advantages)? Personally, I think they are a beautiful thing because Chindians can get the best of BOTH worlds (think Indian weddings and Chinese food).
