Today, somewhere in the Namibian desert, I met an impressive guy named Frans. His native dialect is the clicking language!
He was born and raised in this dry, windy climate of stunning red sand dunes and wild-roaming zebras. And leopards. And wildebeests. And snakes.
I was so impressed by Frans’s desert survival skills and knowledge of 11 (ELEVEN) languages fluently — including his native dialect of the ‘clicking language’ — so it was impossible for me not to share his story with you.
One of the biggest motivators for me to continue my journey to every country in the world is meeting unique people and getting a glimpse into their daily lives. Frans is a perfect example of this.
