Would you believe me if I told you that 3 elderly women have been living in a cave since the 1940s, inside of tiny houses that are made of cow manure in Lesotho?
I found this hidden community somewhere in the middle of Lesotho…. The journey took us hours and hours of driving up steep dirt roads, picking up a hitchhiker who helped give us directions, and running into little boys who were herding hundreds of sheep across the open plains. Lesotho is full of surprises!
The 3 women were ecstatic when we visited them, and it was a very humbling experience to witness their lifestyle overall. This is just another example where I realize that money can’t buy happiness.
