Today I spent 3 hours, alone, with the nomadic Himba Tribe of Northern Namibia. I think they are the world’s most interesting people.

The Himbas ‘initiated’ me into their tribe, by splatting my face with their red clay, teaching me how to do their traditional dance and plenty more which you will see in this video.

By the end of the day, they invited me to sleep in their huts with them, but I respectfully (and regretfully) declined (because I have a 5AM wake up tomorrow morning, and I don’t have a big jacket as it gets freezing overnight).

I’ve made over 400 videos now, and this is my favorite one yet by a long shot. As you probably know, I love going to far away places, interacting unique groups of people and find ways to connect with them. It was a completely surreal, out-of-body experience, that I am so excited to share with you. Hope you enjoy!l
