Through social media, I was able to get in touch with someone who has coronavirus. Her name is Samira. She is an amazing girl from Iran, and is courageous enough to open up and tell me what the last 3 weeks of her life has been like.
The moral of the story is to TAKE THIS VIRUS SERIOUSLY but NOT TO PANIC. In her case, it was a sickness that has been cured, and now she feels happy and almost back to normal. Coronavirus is not a death sentence for the vast majority of the people who get it. We must prepare, not panic.
I hope that everyone reading and watching this is staying safe at home. Please quarantine yourselves. Wash your hands. Clean your phone screen. Don’t touch anyone and keep a distance. We will get through this, together, however long it takes to pass.
Thank you, Samira, for being so kind and strong to share your story with us. I hope to visit your country again once life returns back to normal.
