I Survived a Fatal Bus Crash in India (full story)

In today’s video, I tell you my craziest travel story in full detail. 6 years ago, I was in a fatal bus crash in India during my 3-month solo backpacking adventure across the country. It happened to me when I was en route from Udaipur to Jodhpur in the Rajasthan state. I was the only foreigner on the bus, and the only English speaker. The bus crashed around 1AM local time, in the middle of nowhere. It was the only time that I had to put my hand over my pulse to see if my heart was still beating. 2 people did not make it out alive. I get anxiety just thinking about what happened.

I do not hate India – I have had some incredible experiences around the country. The bus crash could have happened to me in any place, but unfortunately it happened in India. I am happy that I made it out alive and thankful to continue traveling.
