When I am traveling the world, which I have been doing nonstop since August 2012, I am constantly stressed… The long layovers, unexpected delays, dangerous situations, difficulties of getting visas and daunting immigration checks ALL WHILE creating videos every day has led me to have severe anxiety.
But there is one way that I temporarily cure my anxiety, and that is by playing the sport of golf. I’ve played rounds in 42 countries — from Vanuatu to Burundi to Guyana — and it’s the only time to relax my mind.
I realize that golf is likely a boring subject for you if you do not play, and that’s why I hardly ever speak about it. I never want to bore you! But the truth is that this sport has played a huge part of my life since I was 12 and
I always wanted to be a professional golfer. In today’s video, I want to open up and share how golf has helped keep me sane amid this stressful lifestyle on the road.
For all of you workaholics out there, I urge you to find a sport, game, hobby or skill that you can practice to keep your mind healthy. It will make a tremendous difference in your life – I promise!
