I’m very excited to share with you the story of Kerby of Sketchy Stories.
He makes a living from doodling with a pen and is one of the most talented artists you will ever see.
His doodles are so impressive that they’ve landed him gigs with Nike, Netflix, Warner Bros (among dozens of others). His coloring books are sold in bookstores across 40+ countries and he is a NYT best selling illustrator.
But the focus of this story is not about his talent, fame or success. It’s about two things.. HARD WORK and PATIENCE. Both of these things led him to do something professionally that he loves.
Kerby does not come from a big city — he comes from a very small town in the Philippines called Oas, which has only 67,000 people. He did not attend a top University in Manila — he went to Bicol University out in the provinces.
But he figured out a way to turn his passion into a career through hard work and patience. Kerby is not “lucky” by any means for his success.
He earned it.
If you feel inspired, then share this story with your friends to spread the message! Because the truth is that anyone reading this right now CAN turn your passion into a career, and not the other way around.
