This is my friend Alvaro. He is a popular Instagrammer from Spain who is also on a mission to visit every country in the world (currently he’s at 177/197). We’ve actually known each other for 4 years online, and this is the first time we’ve met in real life!

What’s interesting about Alvaro is not only the fact that he’s visiting every country (there are hundreds of people doing it as we speak) — but it’s that he plans to return to a 9-5 job in the corporate world. In today’s society, everyone wants to be “famous” and be an “influencer” — and while Alvaro has that fame now, he doesn’t see it being sufficient for long term.

All things considered, he is still planning to travel and post amazing photos (and you should all follow him @Wanderreds) — and he’s an awesome dude. You will be seeing a lot more of him as we will be spending several weeks traveling West Africa together in October!
