It’s true: Greenland and Iceland should really switch names, because they are polar opposites!!!

Greenland is covered in ice and Iceland is covered in greenery. The people, culture, cuisine and lifestyle between the two places could not be any different — pretty much everything is opposite except for the nature.

As I reminisce on this final day of our AMAZING Hurtigruten expedition, I want to take a moment to compare and contrast Greenland and Iceland. We spent the first week was in Greenland, and the past 3 days sailing the Western coast of Iceland to the towns of Stykkishólmur and now Reykjavík.
