Hi from South Africa! Out of the 161 videos I’ve made, this one is amongst my favorites.
Yesterday, I went on an INCREDIBLE tour of the Makuleke private concession in Kruger National Park — which is way up on the Northeastern tip of South Africa, bordering Zimbabwe and Mozambique. This 240 square kilometer area represents just 1% of Kruger’s total area, but contains more than 75% of the biodiversity.
I’ve seen a wealth of animals (elephant, giraffe, warthog, hippo, buffalo, lion, zebra, antelope, wildebeest, crocodile, baboon, hyena, 480+ species of birds), and not to mention, we are surrounded by untouched bush landscape with rocks dating back 250 million years.
The guy who toured me around, Bruce, is world-renowned for his expert skill & knowledge in birds and dangerous game animals in South Africa. Bruce is like the ‘Michael Jordan of the Wilderness,’ and I learned so much from him which I hope to share with you in this special video!
