Road tripping across Iraq (proper) is a wild experience and I do not recommend any tourist to do it. It can get pretty intense! My buddy Alvaro (IG: @wanderreds) and I were stopped at over 30 police checkpoints – some easy, others hard — and by the end of the journey, my brain was fried … But we made it in one piece to the Southern city of Basra, and I documented the entire experience for you to see.
