In this video, I tell you the life stories of 3 inspiring refugees that I’ve met over the last year during my travels.
The first is Nara, who escaped North Korea to live south of the border in Seoul, South Korea.
The second is Sayed, an Afghani born man who was forced to flee and eventually settled in Reykjavík, Iceland.
The third is Basel, whose home was bombed in Homs, Syria and found a new home and a new life in Manila, Philippines.
Nara, Sayed and Basel represent the 65 million ofter refugees in today’s world who have been forced to leave their homes for various reasons. I will never understand the pain and misery that they have gone through, and I am deeply touched by each of their stories.
